Our story began in 1964, in the heart of Jaipur’s timeless lanes, when Shri Peer Mohammad Ji planted the seed of what would become Neelghar Sarees. Guided by his devotion to textiles and Rajasthan’s centuries-old dyeing traditions, he created sarees that were not just worn, but felt — rich with culture, soul, and authenticity. This was never a trade learned from trends or factories. It was a craft passed down from forefathers to fathers, and fathers to sons. From preparing natural dyes to tying each Bandhej knot by hand, every step was — and remains — done within the Neelghar tradition. His vision was carried forward by Shri Shaffi Mohammad Ji, who expanded the language of design while preserving its grammar. Innovation entered the loom, but the heart of handmade artistry never left.
